The inn is situated in the foothills overlooking San Rafael and borders on the wilds of the Marin County open space. The grounds contain giant oak and cedar trees, Redwoods and various fruit trees. As secluded as it is, it is only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The inn is an historic estate which opened in December 1995 as a warm, comfortably, elegant Inn with 12 richly decorated suites. Each has its’ own parlor area, deck or patio.
