This Queen Anne Victorian was used as the Jones Memorial Hospital for over 60 years and was originally built in Gold Rush-style in 1867 by owners of a long-gone local gold mine. The current owners are both artists and the house reflects their interests. There is a printmaking studio with four presses that guests can experience. Described by Country Living as an eclectic Victoriana colorful collection of hand-me-downs, gifts, heirlooms and antiques fills the artists dwelling, the house is full of surprises. The four guest rooms have private baths, queen and king beds; one even has a private sitting room with fireplace.
