Originally constructed in 1929 as an opulent apartment complex, the Carmel Wayfarer Inn retains the charm of its original design. Under the new ownership of Shetal and Julian, the Inn’s focal point remains our charming courtyard. Beautiful gardens and the warmth of the outside brick fireplace invite our guests to linger.

We host a plentiful extended continental buffet breakfast. Each afternoon we serve select wines and cheeses, and keep our cookie jars full of home-made treats. We are very familiar with the area and will gladly help with concierge needs.

Three blocks from Ocean Avenue, the Inn�s location enables guests to park their cars onsite (limited parking) and walk to all of Carmel�s shops, galleries and restaurants and the famous Carmel white sand beach.
