Coast Guard House Historic Inn

Coast Guard House has stood on a bluff over-looking the rugged Mendocino Coast for over a hundred years. The inn, a 1901 Cape Cod, was once home to brave sea rescuers who performed their duties just a few hundred feet away.

Today it is a peaceful bed and breakfast inn featuring rooms with fireplaces in the main building and two private cottages with fireplaces and whirlpool spas for two.

All of the rooms are designed with simple elegance and surrounded by quiet solitude.

Walk through lovely coastal redwood forests; admire a first order Fresnel lens at the Point Arena Lighthouse; taste world renowned wine in the Anderson Valley and Yorkville Highlands; or just wander endlessly on lovely, deserted, Manchester Beach spoting wildlife and collecting driftwood.

Just three hours north of San Francisco and a world away. Come visit us!
