Built in 1874 as Ojai’s first schoolhouse, the Craftsman style inn hosts 8 rooms, each with its unique decor and art. The Provence Cottage has a living room and bedroom with French doors that open to a private backyard, fireplace, 2 TVs, WIFI, and kitchenette, Breakfasts created with fresh, local ingrediants and evening wine & cheese are enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the elegant gardens, pond, fountains, mature oaks, and, of course, a variety of lavenders. The Lavender Inn has an ideal location across from the village galleries, restaurants and shops, yet it provides an elegant, secluded retreat. The Lavender Inn is available for Garden Weddings, smaller Cottage Weddings and Bridal Parties/Getaways. The Ojai Culinary School offers cooking classes with visiting chefs and artisinal cooks.
