Romance and elegance are in abundance as you wander through this lovely creekside Queen Anne Victorian home. She sits high above the gardens, tastefully appointed with fountain, stone benches and tiered rose gardens, with the sound of Deer Creek to lullaby you to sleep each night. We have six rooms, all with either a king-size bed or a queen-size bed. Our rooms, which have private baths, TVs, DVD/CDs, hair dryers and wireless internet, have amenities that include private patios or balconies, numerous antiques, claw-foot tubs and four poster or canopy beds to mention a few. In addition to our three course gourmet breakfast we offer a “Taste of Nevada County” wines starting everyday at 5:00 PM. Fishing and parking are available on site and Nevada City is but a few steps away.
Nevada City’s quaint streets invite you to enjoy excellent restaurants; antique collectible and one-of-a-kind shopping; fine art galleries; wine tasting and walking tours of Nevada City’s charming homes, churches, museums, and other historic points of interest. There is also bicycling, golf and tennis nearby. Opportunities for hiking, swimming and fishing are in abundance at the many surrounding rivers and lakes in the Sierra Nevada. The Yuba River, Empire Mine and Malakoff Diggings State Historic Park offer a glimpse into California’s rich history during the Gold Rush Days.
