Built in 1874 as Ojai’s first schoolhouse, the Craftsman style inn host 8 rooms, five with private baths and balconies and each with its unique decor and art. The Provence Cottage has a living room and bedroom with French doors that open to a private backyard with Jacuzzi and fountain. The cottage also offers a fireplace, stereo, and 2 TVs. Gourmet breakfasts and evening wine & cheese are enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the English gardens, pond, fountains, mature oaks, and, of course, a variety of lavenders. The Lavender Inn has an ideal location across from the village galleries, restaurants and shops, yet it provides an elegant, secluded retreat.
