Morocco-tinis Anyone? Make these at home!

With COVID safety on our minds, we’ve temporarily suspended our nightly gathering where we did a Moroccan Handwashing for our guests and then serve these complimentary “Morocco-tinis”.  But you can make them at home in a snap!

You can also serve these as a festive non-alcoholic beverage at parties-just leave out the sake and vermouth!  The sugared rim makes this drink a big hit in the summer, winter, fall and spring!  As we say at the El Morocco, “Here’s looking at you, kid!”

Ingredients

Servings: This drink is quick and easy and can serve as few or as many as you'd like!

1 part Sake (No need to chill!)
1 part Orange juice
1 part Cranberry juice
A dash of Sweet Vermouth
Lemon Seltzer (You can always use a can of Squirt since it’s mostly for fizz and a hint of lemon!)

Directions

1.) Throw ’em all together in that shiny Martini shaker
2.) Shake gently, Moroccan style (hey, the seltzer may blow the top off so be careful!)
3.) Serve in sugared Martini glasses over ice.
4.) Toast your creation with the famous line from Casablanca…”Here’s looking at you, kid!”
